Introducing me, Jennifer, a 31-year-old Irish gal shaking up the fashion scene down under in Sydney, Australia! With a colourful career spanning over 7 years in HR, my passion for creativity has always been my secret weapon throughout my career. Alongside my HR career, I previously had a personal blog website, was the owner of a successful bespoke gifting business and I’ve just levelled up my resume with the launch of SocialSphere Digital, where I not only produce user-generated content but also digital products.

If we rewind to my teen years, I cut my teeth interning at Face-Up Magazine and the fashion forward teen magazine, Kiss. It was at Kiss that my passion for fashion and journalism was sparked, setting my soul ablaze with creative fire. Life took me on a winding journey, leaving my journalism aspirations behind but since landing on the sunny shores of Australia I have reignited my creative flame. I decided it’s never too late to chase your dreams which led me to National Fashion College, where I’m diving headfirst into the world of fashion and I cannot wait!

Let me share with you my first taste of the working world in high school. I had the opportunity to intern at two magazine publications, one of which was Ireland's No.1 teen magazine.

Before establishing SocialSphere Digital, I ventured into various other businesses, each shaping my present path. Before SocialSphere Digital, my other ventures paved my entrepreneurial path with creativity.

Explore my educational journey in Ireland and Australia, where I obtained certifications in English literature, business, social media marketing, payroll, HR, and fashion, shaping my versatile skill set and broad knowledge base.

Throughout my journey, I've always sought out ways to express my love for creativity. It all started back in 2020 when I launched my online blog, Patton Review, and then took a leap into the world of personalized gifting with Unique Touch in 2021. Balancing my side hustle with my busy HR job was tough though. Juggling late nights at the office with perfecting each gift design left little time for myself.

But everything changed in October 2023 when my partner and I decided to embark on a journey overseas. It was then that I made the difficult decision to close my business. Now, settled in beautiful Australia, I've reignited my passion for creativity.

Inspired by the incredible marketing efforts I've seen in my job, especially with our portfolio brands like MCoBeauty, I realized that marketing is an area I would have thrived in. So, despite feeling like I might be a bit late to the game, (and old), I decided to pursue my dream. I've enrolled in fashion college to learn all about marketing, PR, event management, and more – and I couldn't be more excited!

Alongside my studies, I wanted to form a creative side hustle again, this time round I wanted to try my hand at content creation and digital product development. It's this blend of passions that led me to create SocialSphere Digital – a place where I can bring together all my skills and interests in one vibrant space.

2024 is the year of pushing through our fears and not letting it hold us back because we could miss out on something that will make us really happy and be really fulfilling.
